One of my favorite “end of the year” activities is choosing a few of my favorite shots from the past 12 months. Easier said than done…Trying to recap 2014 and select a few of our “best” is a tall order! Seriously, it’s like picking your favorite food. Enjoy the images, there were so many more…
Starting off with a bang, David & Illana and a few friends ( 300 + ) partied until dawn at Garza Blanca Resort. This shot defines what we do. Spontaneous, unrehearsed, genuine.
3:30AM and the reception hit it’s climax.
The radiant Brittany Donlon as she prepares for her wedding.
Wedding guest of the year! Love this dude!
Dip of the year! At their home in Poway on a warm August night, Brittany & Hunter danced and celebrated in a sea of purple. Over-the-top? Absolutely!
Stephen & Sharon Kim sharing a moment amongst Los Angeles skyscrapers.
This is proof that I’ve never fully grown up. While waiting for the bride to finish her hair & make up I just couldn’t resist. . .
A beautiful afternoon at the Rancho Valencia Resort.

I love old people. I really do. This couple, like so many grandparents that attend their grandchildren’s wedding, sit patiently while everyone around is caught up in the wedding day hysteria. I asked them how they met. The old man said nothing, he just smiled and looked down. His wife of 56 years looked pass me and said, “He offered to buy me an ice cream cone”, then she put her right hand on his knee.
LOVE this lady!
A quick pit stop into their favorite dive bar. Sonja & Darren enjoying a few laughs at La Jolla Surf Shack.
Just another gorgeous summer night in LA.
Katie & Henry’s getaway… in Dad’s Jaguar!
He’s only 10, but when I grow up, I want to be this kid. Blue suede!!
Time stands still for Ally & Ben Just before the ketubah signing.
Victoria Schroeder’s vision at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
And the award for the Best Looking Wedding Party goes to Matt & Danielle’s bridesmaids and groomsmen. Irritatingly attractive!
Timeless. The Prado at Balboa Park offers a San Diego’s most renowned backdrop.
SSgt. William Pierce and his lovely bride Lia.
Speaking of timeless, The Grant Grill offered Brent and his guys a timeout for a quick drink and a song before the ceremony.
Hat’s off to Michelle & Tim. Married at The Children’s Museum, nothing this couple did was predictable!
The look of love.
